Judi Liosatos
(Queensland, Australia)
Unlike many professional
photographers, Judi Liosatos is completely self taught. She started
winning prizes at the age of 13. It was just the beginning of many
awards to come, but it was just six years ago that she extended her
talent and set up her own business as a professional photographer
accredited with the AIPP. Judi is an example of what a lot of hard work
and imagination can achieve. She has followed her heart and let life’s
lessons be her tutor.
“I believe that we were all placed on this earth for a reason.
My reason is to show the world how I see it. I have always loved
photography and always seen things differently to others. Each person on
this earth has a story to share and I hope to portray as many stories as
I can through my work.”
Judi's work has lead her to a wide variety of assignments such as
calendars, postcards, books, magazines, newspapers and CD covers to
weddings, portraits, families and animal photography to billboard
,signage and shop front photography to websites, newsletters and
displays to name but a few of her projects. Her work has taken her to
extremes at times, from running across school buildings to climbing
water towers, to deep underground and into pens with large male
crocodiles. Whether it is construction work or fine food
photography...there is always something to be covered. She has also been
a photographic judge, photo club president and teacher of photography
and Photoshop.
Judi’s versatility and experience makes her the ideal speaker and
teacher. She will have something new to teach you whether you are a
budding new photographer or a seasoned old timer. She wants to share her
enthusiasm for photography by inspiring you to challenge yourself.
